Force Sensor

Description:
The Force Sensor is a general-purpose sensor for measuring pushing and pulling forces. The sensitive component of the force sensor is a resistance strain member, attaching to the metallic cross girder, and then measure the force from two directions when the cross girder is deformed (apply pulling force or apply pressure to the metal hook). The study of force is critical to many science explorations. An accurate and rugged sensor will ensure your students get the most out of their force experiments. The force sensor uses resistance strain member to convert the force into the voltage message. When the strain member is used, the resistance value of the metal filament varies with the change of its shape, inside the sensor, a metal cross girder structure is fixed, when the metal hook is under a force, the metal cross girder will deform, thus the resistance attaching onto the cross girder deforms accordingly, where the resistance value changes too. After amplifying the circuit, it can measure the value of force exactly.

Explore the frictional force in sliding movement
